Questions parents ask
Yes. The artwork is AI-generated in our own warm bedtime style, then chosen, corrected and personalised by hand for your order before it goes to print.
Most books are posted within 5 working days. Postage and timings are set out in full on the delivery page.
Roughly 0–6. The text is set in Andika, a face made for beginner readers, so it works read-to-them and read-by-them.
Email us as soon as you spot it and we’ll change it if the book has not gone to print yet. Once it has, we can’t: the name is printed on every page, so a typo becomes a book. See returns for what we can put right.
What actually arrives
A 216 × 216 mm square softcover picture book, 29 pages, printed on heavy matte paper by Bookvault, United Kingdom. It is a real book, the size and weight of one you would buy in a shop.
It is a gift, so it looks like one. The child’s name is on the cover, and your message is the first thing inside. Most people are buying this for someone else’s face when they open it.
About the boutique
Ben's Book Boutique is a small family shop making one keepsake at a time. We started because a bedtime story lands differently when the child in it has your child’s name.
